The 2011 First Annual New York Security Summit features talks, presentations, hands-on workshops, and a vendor trade-show fair. Scholars, students, security professionals, independent researchers, and government personnel, and New Yorkers are welcome to attend this 2-day event.
This year's theme is "Securing the State from Hitherto Unimagined Threats."
The Institute for the Study of Succession and Continuity (ISSC) is a non-profit organization working in partnership with various local and federal security-related organizations.
Our primary objectives are:
* To prevent, preempt and protect New York State from future terrorist attacks and hitherto unimagined threats;
* To promote awareness, education and research of security-related responsibilities and activities in the New York State area;
* To stimulate economic growth and generate jobs in security-related activities, industries and research in the New York State area.
Early-bird registrations for attendees, exhibitors and sponsors are now being accepted.
DUE TO BUDGET CONSTRAINTS THE 2011 NEW YORK SECURITY SUMMIT HAS BEEN CANCELLED.
Instead, we have decided to focus our resources on the following projects:
- "Red Team" Competitions
- A documentary on New York City and Washington D.C., in commemoration of the 10th anniversary of 911
- The National Emergency Evacuation Simulation and Modeling Project (Phase 1, New York City)
We apologize for the inconvenience and will provide a full refund to all early registrations and reservations.
Thank you very much.
